What's It Mean to You?

What does hunting mean to you? Over the past few years the meaning of hunting has changed for me. Now that I have two kids that want to enjoy God's Creation, hunting has become more a special time with my kids. This weekend, my son Samuel and I waited out the rain and sat in our new buddy stand for the first time. We saw lots of wildlife and a few deer. The conversation was meaningful and warm. Discussions about sports, animals, God and girls! After the hunt when we descended the ladder stand, I was greeted with a huge bear hug from my son and a thank you! Shooting the biggest buck in the world would not give me a feeling like that. Take some time and get your kids out to hunt or fish. There is a deep tie you are missing if you do not. Shut off the electronics and just be with your kids in God's world!
